Step 1 ASSEMBLE THE FRAME NOTE: Assemble frame on a clean flat surface next to your Gravely snow thrower for easy mounting. PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED None Slide the mounting bar ends [D] onto the ends of the right and left mounting Slide the two support brackets [X] onto the center mounting bar [A] These will be adjusted to attach to your machine later. - Page 5 Step 2 ASSEMBLE THE BACK HOOP FRAME NOTE: It may help to place the parts flat on the ground for easier assembly. PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED None Connect two side poles [F] together Insert the back hoop corner poles [G] The back hoop side poles [F] are designed to fit together by matching tapered for each side of the cab frame.
- Page 6 Step 3 ASSEMBLE THE FRONT POLE WARNING: Use care when assembling the front hoop side and top poles. Poles under tension can slip out of the metal/plastic sleeves causing serious injury. Safety goggles are recommended.` PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED NONE Insert one short fiberglass side pole [W] into one long fiberglass side pole [I] and then into a second long fiberglass side pole Grasp the front hoop pole assembly by [I].
- Page 7 Step 4 INSTALL THE CAB SKIN ONTO THE FRAME NOTE: Fabric shell will be tight when properly assembled. PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED NONE Slide the pocket in the top of the skin [V] over the Pull the skin to the back and secure the elastic strap Slide the front elastic strap at the bottom of the skin installed front hoop assembly.
- Page 8 Step 5 INSTALL MOUNTING POSTS TO SNOW THROWER PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED Mounting posts with 35 mm bolts (2) 1/2 in. Box Wrench Adjustable Wrench 1/2 in. Socket Wrench Assemble the upper clamp mounting post [K] to the top plate [L] on the post on Slide inner mounting post [M] onto attached upper clamp [K].
- Page 9 Step 6 INSTALL UPPER MOUNTING POST ON CAB FRAME POSITION ASSEMBLED CAB OVER SNOW THROWER PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED Mounting posts with 30 mm bolts (2) 1/2 in. Box Wrench Adjustable Wrench 1/2 in. Socket Wrench ~15 in Before mounting assembled cab onto the snow thrower, loosely secure a Use the 30 mm hex bolts [Q] around the main frame [C] of assembled cab frame.
- Page 10 Step 7 SECURE THE CAB TO SNOW THROWER ON THE [X] SUPPORT BRACKET NOTE: Exact positioning can vary depending on your preference. PARTS NEEDED TOOLS NEEDED 1/2 in. Box Wrench Adjustable Wrench 1/2 in. Socket Wrench Align the holes in the support Locate the holes in the machine.
