3 Overview
9 Nuts
Secure the chain sprocket cover to the chain‐
saw.
10 Chain scabbard
The chain scabbard protects against contact
with the saw chain.
11 Front hand guard
The front hand guard protects the operator's
left hand against contact with the saw chain
and is used to engage the chain brake in the
event of kickback.
12 Handlebar
The handlebar is used to hold, control and
carry the chainsaw.
13 Locking lever
The locking lever holds the battery in the bat‐
tery compartment.
14 Battery compartment
The battery compartment holds the battery.
15 Trigger lockout
The trigger lockout unlocks the trigger.
16 Control handle
The control handle is used to control, hold
and guide the chainsaw.
17 Trigger
The trigger turns the chainsaw on and off.
18 Unlock button
The unlock button is used to turn on the
chainsaw.

19 Cover
The cover is the placeholder for a Smart Con‐
nector 2 A.
20 Pushbutton
The pushbutton is used to set the power
level.
21 Oil tank cap
The oil tank cap closes the oil tank.
22 Felling notch
The felling direction can be controlled by the
felling notch.
23 Oil pump adjusting screw
The oil pump adjusting screw is used to
adjust the saw chain oil feed rate.
24 "STATUS" LED
This LED shows the status of the chainsaw.

The cover is part of the motor housing. Only remove the cover to install a Smart Connector 2 A and
store it safely for later re-installation. Always use the chainsaw with the cover or Smart Connector 2 A
installed.

25 "TEMPERATURE" LED
This LED indicates whether the chainsaw is
too hot.
26 "CHAIN BRAKE" LED
This LED indicates whether the chain brake is
engaged.
27 "POWER LEVEL" LEDs
These LEDs indicate the selected power
level.
28 Battery
The battery supplies the chainsaw with
power.
29 LEDs
The LEDs indicate the state of charge of the
battery and any faults.
30 Pushbutton
The pushbutton activates the LEDs on the
battery. The pushbutton activates and deacti‐
vates Bluetooth® radio interface (if available).

The LED indicates the activation and deacti‐
vation of the Bluetooth® interface.
