Intended use
This appliance is intended for the sharpening of coloured and lead pen-
cils in domestic households. It is not intended for use in areas that allow
access for the general public or for commercial or industrial purposes.

Safety information
Do not insert fingers into the sharpening holes or any other ob-
jects, other than the intended coloured or lead pencils. Exercise
caution with the sharp blades, there is a risk of injury!
• NEVER open any parts of the housing, unless instructions to do so
are given herein.
• Always check to ensure that the appliance is in a serviceable condi-
tion before taking it into use. If there is recognisable damage to the
appliance it may not be used. Arrange for it to be safety-checked
by Customers Services before using it again.
• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including
children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual
abilities or deficiencies in experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be
used. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Utilisation
• Secure the appliance by means of the table clamp q
top.

• To insert a pencil, press both of the clamp levers together and

draw the clamping-device out.
• With your other hand insert the pencil as far as it will go into the
sharpening hole and then release the clamp levers w
will now be guided to the cutters with the pre-adjusted contact
pressure.

• Evenly turn the handle clockwise until a no-load rotation is
clearly noticable.
• You can now withdraw the pencil. If you are not satisfied with the
result, simply repeat the above steps.

Cleaning
• To empty the shavings collector t , simply pull it out and then slide
it back in afterwards.
• Clean the applicance only with a lightly moistened cloth. Never use
aggressive cleansers. They can damage the surfaces.
Maintenance
• To remove a broken-off pencil point or deposits on the grinder
you can take out the whole of the grinding unit
• Turn the securing ring y anti-clockwise and take out the whole of
the grinding unit u .
Caution: The blades on the grinder
Either wear protective gloves or take care to avoid touching the
grinder.
Disposal
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally
friendly manner.

Nikdy nesiahajte do otvorov na strúhanie, a nezasúvajte tam
žiadne iné predmety, než na to určené čierne alebo farebné
ceruzky. Dávajte si pozor na ostré nože, nebezpečenstvo
poranenia!
• Nikdy neotvárajte žiadne časti telesa, ak to nie je uvedené v tomto
návode.
• Pred každým použitím skontrolujte výrobok, či je v bez-chybnom
stave. Keď sú na ňom viditeľné poškodenia, nesmiete prístroj ďalej
používať. Nechajte ho pred ďalším používaním najprv skontrolovať
v zákazníckom servise, či je bezpečný.

Používanie
• Prístroj upevnite k stolovej doske pomocou zvierky na stôl
• Ak chcete do strúhadla uchytiť ceruzku, stlačte obe páčky
a vytiahnite uchytávací mechanizmus
• Druhou rukou zasuňte ceruzku až na doraz do otvoru pre ceruzky
a pusťte páčky w . Ceruzka bude teraz s prednastaveným
prítlakom zavedená do frézky.
• Rovnomerne otáčajte kľukou
dovtedy, kým jasne nepocítite voľnobežný chod.
• Teraz môžete ceruzku zo strojčeka vybrať. Ak výsledok nie je dosť
uspokojivý, jednoducho zopakujte predchádzajúce kroky.

Čistenie
• Ak chcete vyprázdniť zbernú nádobku na piliny
jednoduchým spôsobom vytiahnuť a potom znova zasunúť späť.
• Prístroj čistite len mierne navlhčenou handričkou.
Nepoužívajte žiadne agresívne čistiace prostriedky. Môže to
poškodiť povrch prístroja.

• Ak chcete odstrániť zlomený hrot ceruzky alebo usadeniny z frézky
