The following describes the different indicators and markings that appear on the camera's monitor screen.

REC mode

Flash Mode indicator

Auto
Flash Off
Flash On
Red-eye reduction
• Flash indicator indicates
that the flash will fire
(when auto flash is
selected).
Aperture value
Shutter speed value
Battery capacity
• An out of range
aperture or shutter
speed causes the
corresponding monitor
screen value to turn
yellow.
