    Use the Radio FM/WEATHER/AM Slide to select FM, Weather (WX), or AM band. Note: The AM antenna is built into the body of the radio. To improve AM reception, change the position of the radio. Warning: The mains plug is used as a disconnection device and should remain readily operable during intended use. To disconnect the apparatus from the mains completely, fully disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket outlet. Antenna Fully extend for best FM/WX reception. ON/OFF/Volume Turn the radio on and adjust the volume. Earphone jack Insert a (3.5 mm) earphone. TUNER Select a radio station.

    Listening Safety Do not wear headphones, earphones, or earbuds while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can create a traffic hazard and could be illegal in some areas. To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines: • Do not listen at high volume levels. Extended high-volume listening can lead to permanent hearing loss. • Set the volume to the lowest setting. Then turn on your audio device and adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
