THE BASICS

TO MAKE EXTERNAL CALLS
Pick up your handset or press the SPEAKER key for hands-free (if you are using
hands-free, you need to ensure the MIC is on)
TO MAKE INTERNAL CALLS
Dial extension number or press the programmed one touch feature key
TO TYPE IN DIRECTORY
Press # if you have 2 letters on the same key
Press FEATURE key to delete last letter
Press ## for a space
TO TRANSFER A CALL INTERNALLY
During a conversation, press TRANSFER key
Dial the extension number or press the programmed one-touch feature key
Announce the call
Hang up (the two parties will now be connected)
TO TRANSFER A CALL EXTERNALLY
During a conversation, press TRANSFER key
Select a line by pressing 9 or 1
Dial the external number
Hang up (the two parties will now be connected)
TO PLACE A CALL ON HOLD
During a conversation, press the HOLD key
The line key that the call came in on will begin to flash
TO RETRIEVE A CALL ON HOLD
Pick up the handset
Press the flashing line key

GROUP PICK UP
Pick up handset
Dial *41 or press PICKUP
This will pick up the first incoming call within the office (if there are no calls on hold)
DIRECTED GROUP PICK UP (TO PICK UP A CALL FROM A SELECTED EXTENSION)
Pick up handset
Dial *42 and then extension number of ringing extension
TO SET DO NOT DISTURB
Dial *40
Select the option you want:
Mute all external calls (1)
Mute all internal calls (2)
Mute all calls (3)
TO CANCEL DO NOT DISTURB
Dial *40
Select option to cancel (0)
TO PROGRAM AN EXTENSION NAME
Press SPEAKER Key
Type *00
Press HOLD
Type in the name using the keypad
Press HOLD
TO SET TIME
Press SPEAKER key
Type *28
You will not be prompted to the next step.
Enter time in 24 hour format (hr:min)
Press SPEAKER key
