Basic Operation

Powering ON/OFF

When you first connect the unit to the mains socket.
Switch the POWER ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to ON position to turn

on the unit.
Switch the POWER ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to OFF position to turn

the unit off.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit

off completely.

Selecting Modes

Turn the FUNCTION Selector to switch between AUX, FM and AM modes.

Adjusting the Volume

Turn the VOLUME control to adjust the volume.

Radio Operation

1. Turn the FUNCTION selector to AM or FM mode.
2. Turn the TUNING control to tune to a station.
3. Adjust the VOLUME control to the desired level.

For Better Reception

FM - Fully unwind the FM aerial. Extend the FM aerial and place it in the position that
sounds best.
AM - Reposition the unit to get better AM reception.

AUX IN

1. Before connecting to the mains socket, use a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not
included) to connect to the audio device through the AUX IN socket.
2. Connect the mains cable to the mains socket and switch the POWER ON/OFF
switch at the rear of the unit to the ON position.
3. Turn the FUNCTION selector to AUX IN mode.
4. Turn the VOLUME control on the unit to adjust the sound level.
5. In AUX IN mode, you may operate your audio device directly for playback
features.
