Child Fit Information

When Using with Backrest
Only use forward-facing with children:
• who weigh between 40 - 120 lbs
(18 - 54 kg); and
• who are between 44 - 63 in. (110 - 160 cm) in
height; and
• who can remain sitting properly; and
• when the child sits upright with their back
against the backrest, the top of the head
restraint is above the child's ears (Fig. A);
and
• when the shoulder belt is routed through the
shoulder belt guide, the belt lies across the
center of the child's chest and is positioned
at or just above the child's shoulder
(Fig. B); and
• when the lap belt is worn underneath the
armrests and rest low across the child's
upper thighs (Fig. C).

When Using without Backrest
Only use forward-facing with children:
• who weigh between 48 - 120 lbs
(22 - 54 kg); and
• who are between 46 - 63 in. (115 - 160 cm) in
height; and
• who can remain sitting properly; and
• when the booster is placed in a vehicle seat
with head restraint (see vehicle owner's
manual); and
• when the shoulder belt lies across the center
of the child's chest and is positioned at or
just above the child's shoulder (Fig. A); and
• when the lap belt is worn underneath the
armrests and rest low across the child's
upper thighs (Fig. B).
