Screen Saver
The screen saver will activate when you pause the video for over 5 minutes. Press any button to exit the
screen saver. You can turn this setting on or off.
When the screen saver is on for 5 minutes, the DVD player will go into standby mode. Press the power button
on the remote control to turn the DVD player back on.
TV Type
Set screen aspect ratios:
•
4:3PS: When the unit is connected to a TV, a wide screen picture will display on the entire TV screen, but
sections of the right and left of the picture are cut off.
•
4:3LB: when the unit is connected to a TV, a wide screen picture will display on the entire screen, but with
black stripes above and beneath the picture.
•
16:9: When this machine is connected to a wide screen TV, you can select this option. The wide screen
image will be displayed across the full screen, stretched horizontally.
Password
Select the password for parental rating. The default password is "0000." You can change the password after the
lock icon appears as an open lock. When the icon is an open lock, enter a new 4-digit password and press OK
to confirm the change.
Note: Use "4711" to unlock if you forget your password.
Rating
Set the parental rating on which DVDs can be played (only available when password is unlocked).
