do I need a memory card?
Simple answer, yes.
Your phone supports removable microSD memory cards
from various manufacturers with up to 2 GB capacity. We
recommend that you use Motorola approved memory
cards.
Note: Your phone does have a small internal memory but
you can get much more music on a memory card.
