Having other printer parts replaced
The following printer parts can only be replaced by an authorized
customer service employee:
G
The paper feed rollers of tray 2 and the optional paper source
trays 3/4/5
G
The paper feed roller of the optional 2500-sheet tray
G
The fusing unit.
The paper feed rollers of tray 2/3/4/5
The paper feed roller of tray 2 and optional paper feed units 3/4/5 must be
replaced:
G
If the upper surface of a paper feed roller shows signs of wear
(the maximum output capacity of the roller is about 120,000 sheets,
depending on operating conditions).
G
If paper jams occur frequently because of a worn-out paper feed roller.
Paper feed roller of the 2500-sheet paper source unit
The paper feed roller of the optional 2500-sheet paper source unit must
be replaced:
G
If the upper surface of a paper feed roller shows signs of wear
(the maximum output capacity of the roller is about 200,000 sheets,
depending on operating conditions).
G
If paper jams occur frequently because of a worn paper feed roller.
The fusing unit
The fusing unit must be replaced:
G
If the message FAT. ERROR 33 FUSER appears on the LCD display.
Turn the printer off immediately, unplug the power cord and inform
your customer service representative.
G
If paper jams occur frequently because of a worn out fusing unit
(the maximum output capacity of the fusing unit is
about 300,000 sheets, depending on operating conditions).
