Setting Up Key Cover Turning the Power On To open the key cover, lift the cover slightly, then Connect the plugs of the AC adaptor in push and slide it to the end. the order shown in the illustration. To close the key cover, gently slide the cover toward you.
Setting Up Volume Limiter Function The power lamp lights up. When this function is on, the Master Volume does not increase even when the [MASTER VOLUME] knob is turned to the right from center. This allows you to protect your hearing when using the headphones or prevent loud sound from coming out of the speakers.
Functions You can call up a function by holding down the [GRAND PIANO / FUNCTION] button and pressing the specified key. For certain functions, changing the setting produces a confirmation sound. Functions Soft Pedal (Left) Using the Pedals Pressing this pedal will reduce the volume and slightly change the timbre of the notes. The notes played before this pedal is pressed are not affected. Damper Pedal (Right) Pressing this pedal will sustain notes longer. Releasing this pedal immediately stops (damps) Pedal function in Duo (page 12) any sustained notes.

Data Backup and Initializing The following data will automatically be maintained as backup data even if you turn off the power.
