Adjusting the Sound

Emphasizing the bass

Use the remote control for these operations.
Adjusting of the subwoofer level

Press S.A.BASS.
Remote control
"S.A.BASS" and "ON" appear in the display and the
S.A.BASS indicator lights up.
S.A.BASS
To cancel the bass emphasis
Press S.A.BASS again.
"S.A.BASS" and "OFF" appear in the display and the
S.A.BASS indicator goes out.
• The S.A.BASS cannot be adjusted during DIRECT
playback.
Adjusting the bass
1 Press BASS.
2 Press +/R or –/L to adjust the bass level.
Press +/R to increase the bass.
Press –/L to decrease the bass.
• The bass can be adjusted in 7 steps from –3 to +3.
Adjusting the treble
1 Press TREBLE.
2 Press +/R or –/L to adjust the treble level.
Press +/R to increase the treble.
Press –/L to decrease the treble.
• The treble can be adjusted in 7 steps from –3 to +3.
• The BASS, and TREBLE cannot be adjusted during
DIRECT playback.
Rotate SUBWOOFER VOLUME.
Rotate rightward to increase the level or leftward to
8 dB SUBWOOFER
VOLUME
decrease the level.
