    Make sure your work area is well lighted. Clean and uncluttered work spaces contribute to safe and productive work conditions. Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
  • Page 4: Maintenance

    Periodically use a good graphite oil to lubricate blade edges and gears on the Geared Handle (4). To Replace the Blades (8, 14): a. Open jaws completely. Be sure to use caution when replacing the blade; if the handle is bumped the blades may move, causing personal injury.
