■ INSPECTIONS （検査）
● Required items
• PC: Windows OS
• USB cable (supplied with this unit)
• AC adaptor (supplied with this unit)
• DC regulated power supply
• Signal generator
• Oscilloscope
● Preparation
Install the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver to the PC.
For details, refer to "Preparation 2. Installing YAMAHA
Steinberg USB Driver" of "UPDATING FIRMWARE" on
page 34.
● Connection
Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN 15V jack.
● Outline of Test Procedure
The test procedure consists of 2 parts as follows.
1 to 9: Tests using the self-diagnostic function
10 to 13: Tests not using the self-diagnostic function
● Starting Self-Diagnostic Function
While pressing the "TAP" key, turn the power switch to
ON position and keep pressing the "TAP" key. When the
LED display lights, press the "TAP" key 3 times before
the LED display turns off.
The self-diagnostic function mode is activated, "0" is
shown on the LED display and the LED test starts
automatically.
Note:
The figures, shown on the LED display while pressing
the "TAP" key, express the firmware version number.
The self-diagnostic function mode is not activated
when the LED display turns off before pressing the
"TAP" key 3 times.
In such a case, turn the power switch to OFF position
once, and retry the starting operation.

ルします。

の「● 準備 2. YAMAHA Steinberg USB ドライバー
のインストール 」を参照してください。
● 接続
AC アダプターを DC IN 15V 端子に接続します。

● 検査方法の概要
検査は下記の 2 つの部分で構成されます。
1 〜 9： ダイアグを使用した検査
10 〜 13： ダイアグを使用しない検査
● ダイアグの起動
TAP キーを押しながら電源スイッチを ON にし、さ
らに TAP キーを押し続けます。LED ディスプレイ
が点灯したら、 消灯する前に TAP キーを 3 回押します。
ダイアグが起動し、LED ディスプレイに 0 が表示さ
れ、LED 検査が自動的にスタートします。
注：
TAP キーを押し続けている間に LED ディスプレ
イに表示される数字はファームウェアのバージョン
ナンバーです。
TAP キーを 3 回押す前に LED ディスプレイが消
灯した場合、ダイアグは起動しません。
そのときは、一度電源スイッチを OFF にした後、起
動操作をやり直してください。
