    N501 User’s Manual 1.1.1 LCD Module Latch Secures the display case to your notebook computer G-MAX N501. To open the display, slide the latch to the right and lift the display. When you close the display, the latch will secure it automatically.

The battery pack will pop up. 1.5.2 Battery Pack With a charged battery pack installed, you can use your notebook computer G-MAX N501 without connecting it to an electrical outlet.

    2 Operating Your Notebook Computer G-MAX N501 our notebook computer G-MAX N501 is designed and pre-configured for easy setup and use. This chapter describes the installation steps you should follow to get your notebook computer G-MAX N501 up and running as quickly as possible.

    N501 The Power button is found on the top of the base unit. Press the Power button to start your notebook computer G-MAX N501 and check that if the Power LED turns on. After a few seconds, the notebook’s display will turn on and your notebook computer G-MAX N501 will begin to execute the Power On Self Test or POST to check if all system components are running properly.

    This mode conserves power by switching off the hard drive and display after a preset period of inactivity (a time-out). When standby mode is exited, your notebook computer G-MAX N501 will return to the same operating state it was in before entering standby.
