5 MIC/LINE INPUT
Combo input jack that supports both
XLR and phone plugs. Connect a
dynamic type microphone or line-level
devices such as a synthesizer or
mixer. Set the MIC/LINE switch (6) to
[MIC] or [LINE] depending on the level
of the input signal.
6 MIC/LINE switch
Set this switch to [MIC] or [LINE]
depending on the level of the input
signal. For low-level signals (such as a
microphone), set the switch to [MIC].
For high-level signals (such as a
mixer), set the switch to [LINE].
7 LINE 1 INPUT
Input jack that is compatible with a
stereo-mini plug. The stereo input
signal will be played back in monaural
as L + R. Connect a portable audio
player or computer.
8 LINE 2 INPUT
Phone jack that is also compatible with
a balanced input. Any audio
equipment that produces a line level
output can be connected to this jack,
such as a synthesizer, mixer, effects
unit, etc.
9 LINE OUT
This phone jack can be connected to a
computer for recording, or another
MS101-4 for expanding the system. It
also can be used as a balanced
output. Input signals from the MIC/
LINE INPUT, LINE 1, and LINE 2 inputs
are mixed, and then output here. The
front panel volume knob doesn't affect
the volume level of this line out.
) AC IN
Connect the supplied AC power cord
here. First, connect the power cord to
this product, and then insert the power
cord plug into the AC outlet. When
removing the power cord, perform this
procedure in reverse order.
WARNING
Use only the supplied power cord.
CAUTION
Turn off the power before you connect or
disconnect the power cord.
NOTICE
Air blowing out of the bass reflex port is
normal, and often occurs when the speaker
is handling program material with heavy
bass content.
