Configuring the system
Configuring system components
Selecting the source for the set DHW temperature
"Set val."
"Fix":
For applications that require a constant DHW tem-
perature. The DHW cylinder is always heated to this
set DHW temperature.
"BUS":
The set DHW temperature is received via the bus
system (Modbus or BACnet).
Activating the immersion heater
If an immersion heater has been installed in the DHW
cylinder, this must be activated here.

Configuring the external heat generator (oil/gas boiler)

Tap the following buttons:
1.
2. "Configuration"
3. "BH"
4. Make the required settings.
Activating the external heat generator
If an external heat generator (oil/gas boiler) is connec-
ted, this can be activated here to back up the heat
pump.
"Booster htr"
"Y":
Activated
"No": Deactivated
Selecting the type of backup
"Options"
"DHW heater":
DHW heating backup
"Htg hot water":
Central heating backup
"HW + HWB":
Backup for DHW heating and central heating

Configuring the coolant buffer cylinder

(cont.)
The immersion heater will provide reheating if the heat
pump cannot achieve the required temperature.
"Immersion heater"
"Y":
With immersion heater
"No": Without immersion heater
Activating the DHW circulation pump
If a DHW circulation pump is connected, this can be
activated here.
"Pump DHW circ."
"Y":
With DHW circulation pump
"No": Without DHW circulation pump
Selecting the operating mode
"Op. mode"
"Dual mode alternative":
At low outside temperatures, the external heat gen-
erator alone covers the heating output demand. The
heat pump remains off.
"Dual mode parallel":
The heat pump alone covers the heating output
demand at higher outside temperatures. Below the
dual mode point, the external heat generator is
switched on in addition.
Selecting control of the 3-way mixer in the main
flow of the heating circuits
"Valve flow htg circ"
"Regulat.":
The 3-way mixer in the main flow of the heating cir-
cuits is controlled by the external heat generator.
"Bypass":
Main flow of heating circuits directly from external
heat generator (without heating water buffer cylinder)
Activating the coolant buffer cylinder
If a coolant buffer cylinder is connected, this can be
activated here.
