For example of an expressing a purple pixel, a reflector is adjusted as a penetration status (1) through a R (red) filter, thereby
expressing a red pixel. In a G (green) filter, a reflector is adjusted as a non-penetration status (0), thereby expressing no color. In i d i l I
a B (blue) filter, the same procedure is repeated for a while by penetrating light so that a purple, a combination color of a red and
a blue, is expressed.
According to the above figure, a formula in order to express a purple from a pixel using a combination of DMD and filter
operation is R*1+G*0+B*1+R*1 +G*0+B*1......If the principle is applied, many color combinations can be made thereby
creating various colors. Therefore, a color expression using DMD is done purely based upon a digital method.
