Transferred data during a Mercedes me call
The data transferred during a Mercedes me call
depends on which service is selected in the
voice control system and whether Mercedes me
connect services are activated.
If no Mercedes me connect services are activa‐
ted and the data protection prompt has been
confirmed the following data is transmitted:
Vehicle identification number
R
Mercedes me customer identification num‐
R
ber
Reason for the initiation of the call
R
Language set in the multimedia system
R
Confirmation of the data protection prompt
R
If a call is made for a service appointment via
the service reminder, the following data may be
transmitted:
Current mileage and maintenance data
R
Transfer is possible assuming the required
data transfer technology is supported by the
mobile service operator and the quality of
the mobile connection is sufficient.
If Accident and Breakdown Management is
called via the voice control system and no
service has been activated, but the data protec‐
tion query has been confirmed, the following
data can also be called up from the vehicle by
the Mercedes-Benz Customer Centre:
Current vehicle location

If the data protection prompt has been rejected
the following data is transmitted:
Reason for the initiation of the call

Mercedes me connect is not available in
every country. Find out at a Mercedes-Benz
service centre if these functions are availa‐
ble in your country.
Mercedes me connect consists of multiple serv‐
ices.
Depending on whether the services are activated
and on the vehicle equipment, you can use the
following services via the multimedia system and
the overhead control panel, for example:
Accident and breakdown management (me

button)
If the service is activated: Concierge Service
R
(me button)
Mercedes-Benz emergency call system (auto‐
R
matic emergency call or SOS button)
Mercedes me connect accident and breakdown
management, the Mercedes me connect Con‐
cierge Service (if service is activated) and the
Mercedes-Benz emergency call centre are availa‐
ble for you around the clock.
