Frost protection/heating mode button
The appliance can be switched between heating and frost
protection mode with button
In frost protection mode the appliance will automatically
ensure that the water temperature is at approx. 10 °C, the
tank is thus protected against frost damage. The time and
the word
up light alternately. In heating mode
various settings can be selected: standard mode, holiday
mode, timer mode.

3 Multi-function rotary knob
Using the multi-function rotary knob menu functions can be
controlled by turning and pressing the knob in heating mode.
4 Operational display
The LED lights red as soon as the appliance is supplied with
power and indicates that the appliance is ready for operation.
The LED lights green in heating mode
The LED lights orange with the "heat once" function

Button "Heat once"
By pressing button
the tank heats the water once and
then returns to the operating mode which was set
beforehand.
Example: The appliance is in timer mode.
Press the
button. The LED (4) now lights orange and
the display (i) flashes. Within 10 seconds the required
temperature for "heat once" can be set by turning the
multi-function rotary knob (3) and then confirmed by
pressing the rotary knob.
The appliance heats up once to the set temperature and
is then once again in the timer mode.
Note: The "heat once" function can be aborted by
pressing the button
(return to the previous operating
mode) or by pressing button

Operation

Plug in the main plug, the LED of the operational display
(4) lights up red.
The tank is in frost protection mode, on the display the
actual water temperature and the frost protection
temperature of 10 °C are displayed. The display
flashes alternately with the time display.

The appliance changes over to heating mode. The display
lights
for standard mode and the temperature of 55 °C
(factory setting).
The display (h) indicates the current temperature of the
water.
The display (a) indicates heating up by a moving bar. All
bars are displayed as soon as the set temperature is
achieved.
Note: The date and the time must be set with the initial
startup or after a power failure (see Entering data and
time).
Settings
The existing settings can be changed in heating mode and
new settings can be made.
Reset: The settings you have made can be deleted again.
Press button
for at least 5 seconds and the factory
settings will be activated.
Info: If no settings are made during programming after 10
second, the device will leave programming mode without
saving and the previous settings will be activated without
changes.
The display lights up with a blue background during
programming. The lighting switches off about 25 seconds
after the last setting.
