Turn the control towards . or
N> repeatedly to adjust the bass
or the treble.
Example: While adjusting the bass
The cursor moves.
(Position: –2)

The sound can be adjusted in 8 steps
(–4, –3, ...±0, ...+2, +3).
To switch "B" (bass) and "T"
(treble):
press SOUND for 2 seconds or more.
To switch "SOUND 1" and
"SOUND 2":
press SOUND for a short time.

Press x to enter.
The sound settings are saved and the
playback display appears again.
To cancel the Digital Sound
Preset
• On the recorder
Select "SOUND OFF" in step 2 on "To
select a preset sound".
• On the remote control
Press SOUND repeatedly until nothing
appears in the display in step 1 on "To
select a preset sound".

• Settings can also be changed while playback
is momentarily paused (X).
• If the recorder is not operated approximately
for 5 minutes, the current setting is stored and
the display automatically switches to normal
playback.
Notes
• When you use the Digital Sound Preset, the
sound may break or become distorted
depending on the settings or the track. In this
case, change the settings of the sound quality.
• Changing to another Digital Sound Preset
during a recording operation will not affect
the quality of recorded sound.
Checking the remaining
time or the playing
position
You can check the track name, disc name,
etc. during playback. Group-related items
appear only when a track with group
settings is played.

"DISPLAY" flashes in the display,
and then press ENTER.
