Sets the recording mode including sound quality.

Stereo recording mode (displayed as "ST" in the window)

Stereo standard play recording mode (displayed as

Monaural standard play recording mode (displayed as
"SP" in the window)
8kbps(MONO):
Monaural long play recording mode (displayed as "LP" in

High:
