TRANSMISSION IDENTIFICATION
Tractor serial number D11073 onwards
Rear axle
A new transmission identification code has been
introduced
from
tractor
manufactured in March 1995. The new code is a series of
numbers and letters stamped on the left-hand rear centre
housing lug and identifies the following (Fig.9).

Transmission gearbox
Identification remains unchanged at 011072.
All gearboxes are stamped with a unit number adjacent to
the safety start switch (Fig.10). This number identifies the
build of the gearbox in respect of constant mesh ratio, PTO
ratio, normal or heavy-duty epicyclic unit and whether the
box is fitted with a long or short PTO shaft. Long shafts are
fitted to tractors with a spacer, short shafts to non-spacer
tractors.
