    Using the product recovery CD-ROMs Using the product recovery CD-ROMs The set of Product Recovery CD-ROMs supplied with your computer allow you to perform a full system recovery, help you to reinstall individual applications or the device drivers manually. The system recovery process allows you to reinstall an image of the hard disk as it was before you started using your desktop.
  • Page 33 Using the product recovery CD-ROMs You can only use these product recovery CD-ROMs on the Sony desktop you purchased and not on any other Sony PC or other manufacturer's PC! The recovery process can last up to sixty minutes. Applying a system recovery means that you will lose all your data stored on your C: drive (and your D: drive if you modify partition settings).
