No incoming calls to your handsets?
Your Broadband Talk service may not yet be set-up. Go to www.bt.com/bbt and follow the
on-screen instructions to manually activate your BT Broadband Talk account before attempting to
make a call. You will need your BT Broadband talk number and password which were sent to you in
an email from BT (and in the Account Summary letter if you are also a new BT Broadband customer).
– Your Hub Phone may not have registered successfully (see pages 7 onwards) – The ringer volume
may be set too low (see page 53 to adjust volume) – You may have set-up call divert to another
number (log in to your account with your Broadband talk number and password at
www.bt.com/broadbandtalk/youraccount and follow the on-screen instructions relating to the
Messaging options to amend current settings.
– Check your Hub Manager telephony settings by going to the Hub Manager at
www.bthomehub.home. Select the 'Telephones' menu on the left to change your settings.
(Default hub manager username: admin, password: admin) and verify your settings.
Buzzing noise on my radio, TV, computer or hearing aid
Sometimes your BT Hub Phone 1020 can interfere with other electrical equipment if it is placed too
close. It is recommended that you place your BT Hub Phone 1020 at least one metre away from
such appliances to avoid any risk of interference.
