TP CHASSIS / TELEVISION
7.1. Chassis General Operating Principle
In TP-chassis products - differing from TF, SX and TX chassis; 100Hz URSA and
digital satellite receiver (DVB-S/S2) circuits are not used as a separate module but
they are integrated on the chassis to obtain a single unit. Besides, AWOX internet
module - used in TX chassis – has been removed to support internet applications in
main IC. Internet application firstly started with AWOX internet module in TX chassis
has been advanced with TP chassis, and DVB-T2, DVB-S/S2, 3DTV and 200Hz
panel support has been provided.
As shown in block diagram, single integrated circuit is used for digital and analog
controls in TP chassis as well as in our other digital chassis. Besides, DVB-T/C and
analog modulator/demodulator are integrated in the main IC. URSA and DVB-S/S2
demodulators are separate from the main IC. The signals from all audio and video
sources provide input to the main integrated circuit; after the video has been
processed, it is sent to the panel from the integrated circuit via LVDS lines. Likewise,
