Selecting the Display mode

For more information on your
Ati Rage graphic chip, go to
Start, select Settings and
then click Control Panel.
Double-click on the Display
icon and select the Settings
tab where you click on the
Advanced button.


Besides the normal display
colors (256 colors, High color
(16 bit) and True color (24 bit),
you have now a new one: True
color (32 bit).
Selecting the Display mode
This notebook uses the ATI video controller. You can select which display is used when
the computer is connected to an external display.

Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.

Double-click Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Advanced button.
The ATI Rage Mobility AGP dialog box appears.
If you cannot see the movie on the external display, click the Displays tab in order
to set the external display to the primary display.

Go to the Panel section.

Set the external display to the primary display by clicking on the Secondary check
mark.
The primary display is set.
