5. Reverse the AC plug in the AC outlet and repeat each of the above
measurements.
6. The potential at any point should not exceed 0.75 V RMS. A
leakage current tester (Simpson Model 229 or equivalent) may be
used to make the hot checks. Leakage current must not exceed 1/
2 mA. In case a measurement is outside of the limits specified,
there is a possibility of a shock hazard, and the equipment should
be repaired and rechecked before it is returned to the customer.
1.1. LASER PRODUCT
CLASS I LASER PRODUCT
- This equipment is certified to comply with DHHS Rules 21 CFR
Chapter 1, Subchapter J in effect as of date of manufacture. (Only
for U.S.A.)
This equipment is classified as a Class I (Class 1) level LASER Product and there is no
hazardous LASER radiation with the safety protection.
Caution:
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other
than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation
exposure.
Danger:
The serviceman should not remove the cover of drive unit and
should not service because the drive unit is a non- serviceable
parts. Please check that the labels.
Never touch the internal parts in order to avoid EXPOSURE TO VISIBLE LASER RADIATION.
Unplug the AC power cord to the equipment when opening the top cover.
When the power switch is On, do not place your eyes close to the front panel opening door or
the other openings to look into the interior unit.
