To programme while checking the total playing time instead of step 2

Press = or + until the track you want to programme appears in
the display window.
The total playing time including the selected track appears in the
display window.

Press PROGRAM to confirm your selection.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to programme more tracks.
To insert a pause as one step
During programming, press P to insert a pause. The total playing time is
reset to "0.00."
When playing a programme which contains a pause, the player pauses at
the step in which a pause is programmed, until you press P or ·. This
might be useful when you record a programme on both sides of a tape.
Tip
• The programme remains even after the Programme Play ends.
When you press ·, you can play the same programme again.
Notes
If you play a VIDEO CD with PBC functions in Programme Play mode, you cannot
use PBC functions (page 51).
If the total playing time exceeds 100 minutes, "– – . – –" appears in the display
window.
If you programme more than 24 tracks, "FULL" appears on the TV screen.
