When you press the Options soft key in the details
display, the following options are available:
Edit: allows you to change the phone number, name,
location number, label category and many others.
Prepend: allows you to add digits, such as area codes,
ahead of the selected number before dialing. See page
28 for details.
Erase: erases the selected entry.

Add Entry
This menu allows you to store a number with a name in
your Phonebook. You can save a person's numbers, such
as home number, office number, mobile number, and fax
number, into one entry. A Phonebook entry can contain
up to six numbers, one in each category.

1. Enter a phone number and press the Save soft key.
2. Press the Select soft key to confirm to add a new
entry.
3. Enter a name and press the Next soft key. For further
details about entering characters, see page 41.
4. Select an icon to identify the category of number to
be stored using the navigation keys and press the
Select soft key.
5. To select an option, scroll to it by pressing the
key.
The following options are available:
• Enter Name: allows you to enter a name of up to
12 characters, if you didn't in step 3. For further
details about how to enter text, see page 41.
• Entry: The first available location displays. If
necessary, enter the location number using the
number keys.
