Menu Settings: Rec Format
Record in the uncompressed WAV format. Do not
use the MP3 format.
The most common recording format for video is
WAV 48 kHz/24 bit. Be consistent. Always record at
the same sample rate for one project.
48 kHz refers to the sample rate. The sound is being
sampled 48000 times per second. The higher the
sample rate, the more accurately high frequencies
will be reproduced.
24 bit refers to the detail of each sample. The
higher the number, the greater the detail and the
larger the file size.
