TROUBLESHOOTING
This troubleshooting guide is provided
to help you find the cause of some
common complaints.
NOTICE
Improper repairs or adjustments
may
damage
instead of fixing it. Such damage
may not be covered under war-
ranty.
If you are not sure about the
proper action, consult your Suzuki
dealer about the problem.

IGNITION SYSTEM CHECK
1. Remove the spark plugs and reat-
tach them to the spark plug leads.
2. While holding a spark plug firmly
against the engine, crank the
engine with the ignition switch in
the "ON" position. If the ignition
system is operating properly, a
blue spark should jump across the
spark plug gap. If there is no
spark, consult your Suzuki dealer
for repairs.
 WARNING
Performing the spark test improp-
erly can be hazardous. You could
get a high voltage electrical shock
if you are not familiar with this
procedure.
Do not perform this check if you
are not familiar with the proce-
dure. Do not point the spark plug
near the spark plug hole during
this test. Do not perform this test
if you have a heart condition or
wear a pacemaker.
ENGINE STALLING
1. Check the fuel supply in the fuel
tank.
2. Check the ignition system for
intermittent spark.
3. Check the idle speed.
