SET UP & USE

OPERATION

• Insert 3 x "AAA" batteries (not included) into battery holder at the back of the scale. Open the
cover, install the batteries following markings on base of compartment, and close cover.
• P lace the scale on hard and flat surface.
• Press POWER/TARE button to turn on the scale. It is ready for use when the LCD screen shows
"0".
• Use UNIT button to select from the three choices of measure.
a) You can select to measure weight, a small weight icon will appear in the lower
left hand corner of the display and a "g" in the lower right hand corner to indicate
grams. If you wish to measure weight in pounds and ounces instead, press the UNIT
button for approximately three seconds and "lb:oz" will appear to the right of the
weight icon.
b) You can select to measure milk volume, a small pitcher icon with the letter "m"
inside will appear in the lower left hand corner of the display and "ml" to the right
to indicate milliliters. If you wish to measure in fluid ounces instead, press the UNIT
button for approximately three seconds and "fl oz" will appear.
c) You can select to measure water volume, a small empty pitcher icon will appear
in the lower left hand corner of the display and "ml" to the right to indicate
milliliters. If you wish to measure in fluid ounces instead, press the UNIT button for
approximately three seconds and "fl oz" will appear.
• Place the container/storage on the platform and the measurement will appear and remain for
approximately 2 minutes before shutting off automatically.
NOTE: You can also turn off the scale at any time by holding POWER/TARE button down for
approximately two seconds
