These mowers are designed to cut grass, weeds, small brush and other vegetative material up to 3-1/2” diameter in areas such as pastures, industrial areas, and roadsides. The mower is equipped with protective deflectors and/or chain guards to prevent objects being thrown from the mower by the blades, however, no shielding is 100% effective.

TRACTOR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lift, pull, and operate the Power Take Off (PTO) at the mower’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed between 2 and 5 MPH. Operating the mower with a tractor that does not meet the following requirements may cause tractor or mower damage and be a potential danger to the operator and passersby.

    MAINTENANCE BLADE TIMING AND ROTATION Blades on multi-spindle mowers overlap cutting paths to ensure a complete cut across the width of the mower and to compensate for blade tip wear. If a gearbox has been repaired, a blade carrier or side driveline has been removed, or other maintenance performed which altered the factory set blade carrier timing, the blades must be re-timed to ensure they will not collide while rotating.
