    Guide to On-Screen Displays The following explains the three types of on-screen displays used with this player: Status Bar, Control Bar, and Control Menu.     Step 3: Attaching the Jack Cover You can install the player horizontally, vertically or on the wall. Notes • Make sure that the connecting cords are not trapped by the jack cover. • If you use commercially available cords, make sure that those cords are similar to the supplied cords in size. If the cords are too thick or hard, or the plug is too large, you may not be able to attach the jack cover securely.

    Playing Discs Playing Discs Depending on the DVD or VIDEO CD, some operations may be different or restricted. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your disc. AUDIO Turn on your TV. Switch the input selector on the TV to the player. When using an amplifier (receiver) Turn on the amplifier (receiver) and select the appropriate channel.
