4. TROUBLESHOOTING

4-12) Self-Diagnosis Error (Defective Sensor)

- When there is sensor error, display panel show that. When it occurs during the initial power on time, display
panel keeps blinking relevant Seg and the refrigerator go into the emergency operation mode.
- under the emergency operation mode, the refrigerator can not do its normal operation. So check out with the
Self Diagnosis in this manual.
1) When the Ambient Sensor is defective,
Ambient-Sensor : Read
the resistance between
cn40 #1 and #2
compare the room temp.
with sensed temp. using
Temp-Resistance Table.
2) When the F-room Temp Sensor is defective (also applied to other sensors)
Refer to circuit Diagram
and Temp Sensor
Troubleshooting in this
manual.

Start
mAin PbA
connector (cn40) is inserted
properly.
yeS
Ambient Temp Sensor
is ok.
yeS
PbA & Thermistor are ok.
check the contact of the
connector again.
Start
F-Sensor is good.
yeS
mAin PbA connector
(cn40) is properly
inserted
yeS
The order of
connector(cn40) is the same
as the one in the circuit
diagram
yeS
The voltage between
cn40 #4 and #5 is within the
normal range.
yeS
PbA & Thermistor are good. check the
contact of the connector again.
