When the POTS LED is red, the port is in a fault condition. To correct the problem, perform
the following:

The successful use of the ODN interface connection relies on several factors being within
tolerance. The components must:
• Be clean and dry (refer to Cleaning and Inspection of Components below).
• Have mechanically tight connections.
• Contain the proper optical signal levels. Refer to "Signal Level Verification" on page 45.
