Operating the 2 / 4 Hour Start Up Timer Mode

The system has the ability to start the vehicle every 2 or 4 hours for a 48 hour period.
This feature is especially useful in cold climates where the only means to keep the
engine and engine fluids warm is to periodically start the engine. The default setting
is 4 hours.
WARNING!
Be certain that the vehicle is outdoors before using this or any remote starting
device. A running engine produces dangerous carbon monoxide fumes which can be
harmful or fatal if prolonged exposure occurs. DO NOT remote start the vehicle if it is
garaged.
To configure 2 / 4 hour start timer mode:
1. Press and hold the valet button.
2. Cycle the vehicle's Ignition ON/OFF 1 time.
To activate the 2 / 4 hour start up timer mode:
1. Start the vehicle and let it run for more than 15 seconds.
2. Cycle the vehicle's Ignition to the OFF position.

To exit the 2 / 4 hour start up timer mode:
1. Remote start the vehicle using the remote control.
