Capabilities of this Application
By installing this application on a smartphone, you can connect the
smartphone to this camera via Bluetooth connection and make use of the
following functions.
1 Operate with a smartphone - Remote control function
You can use a smartphone as a remote control for this unit.
2 Record and display location information - GPS function
You can obtain the GPS location information with a smartphone, and
add this information to the image data recorded by this camera.
The location information is sent only in the video/still image recording

mode.
By recording videos/still images with location information, you can

display the information during playback.
Caution :
Packet communication fees may be incurred when the GPS function is

used.
3 Display the camera's screen on a smartphone - MONITOR function
Images on the camera during the video recording mode can be
displayed on a smartphone as a series of continuous still images.
Import recorded images to a smartphone - CAPTURE function

Images recorded on the camera can be resized and imported to a
smartphone as still images.
This function is available in the video/still image playback mode.

Operating Conditions
To use this application, your smartphone has to meet the following
requirements.

B Supports Bluetooth function and the Serial Port Profile (SPP)
C Supports GPS function
D Able to connect to the internet or "Android Market™" (required for
software installation)

Installing the Application from Android Market
1 Tap [Market] on the home screen.
2 Search for the "Everio Controller" application.
3 Tap on the "Everio Controller" application.
The detailed information of the application is displayed.

For applications that access data or functions of this unit, a screen

checking, tap [OK].
Downloading starts.

After downloading is complete, Install_End appears on the status bar

The installed application will be added to the application list
automatically.
Deleting Applications
A Tap [Market] on the home screen.
B Press the menu button and tap [My apps].
A list of previously downloaded applications is displayed.

D Tap [Uninstall], then tap [OK].
