HOLD/SET
Activating the Password
Press SET three times to register your selection and return to the
date/time display.
WARNING
After you activate the password, all the documents
•
you send have this password. Therefore, only people
who have Epson PriorityFax machines with the
password feature, who know the password, and who
know how to use the password can receive documents
from your fax machine.
Also, after you activate the password, your fax
•
machine cannot receive any faxes that do not have this
password.
Be sure to turn off the password feature when you are
•
through with it.
Even though you may have entered a password, the password
feature is not activated until you follow this procedure:
Make sure no document is in the machine.
Press FUNCTION.
Press 7 to select user-definable switches.

Press 6 to select password.
