Dismantling the Swing Axle

Remove the cables from the battery terminals and remove
the battery.
Remove the battery shelf.
Remove the fastening bolts and control rods for the axle.
Remove the swing axle.
Dismantling/Assembling the Drive
Chain
McCulloch M105-97F
Remove the foot plate.
Cut the drive chain.
Fit a new drive chain with a master link.

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

Adjusting the Drive Chain

Loosen the four screws and slide the plate forward by hand to
tighten the chain.
Tighten the chain.

Dismantling the Gearbox

McCulloch M105-97F
Remove the steering column, see "Assembling the Steering
Shaft".
Remove the plastic cover over the control rod.
Remove the side plates.
Loosen the tank and move it out of the way.
