Take care to prevent this when performing repairs. 1.6.1 Grounding to prevent damage by static electricity Static electricity in the work area can destroy the optical pickup (laser diode) in devices such as DVD players.

(See Figs.1 and (2) From the back side of the main body, remove the three screws B attaching the metal cover.

NOTE: Please perform all-initialization when you exchange the parts above and also when you remove the parts above.

Then, FL display is displayed "CHECK". (3) The laser current value can be switched between the value of CD and that of DVD by pressing the following key of the remote controller.
