  • Page 9 4. Connect one end of the HDMI 2.0 cable to the HDMI connector on the back of the computer, and the other end to the HDMI connector on the monitor. Lenovo recommends that customers who require to use the HDMI input on their monitor purchase the “Lenovo HDMI to HDMI cable OB47070”.

    The PbP (Picture-by-Picture) function make the monitor to display two different video sources simultaneously. User can select any one of 3 inputs (DP, HDMI, Thunderbolt) for the left screen, select another input for the right one. For example, the left screen PC1 could be input of DisplayPort, HDMI or Thunderbolt notebook, the right screen PC2 would be rest input.

    Daisy Chain This daisy chain is only available for Thunderbolt PC. The 2 monitor could be Thunderbolt (P40w-20) or USB-C (i.e. ThinkVision P27h-20, T27h-20). The Thunderbolt out of 1st monitor could connect other type Thunderbolt device (i.e. SSD), not limit to monitor.

    Maximum resolutions The display mode the monitor uses is controlled by the computer. Therefore, refer to your computer documentation for details on how to change display modes. The image size, position and shape might change when the display mode changes. This is normal and the image can be readjusted using automatic image setup and the image controls.
