Resetting the P-touch Labeling System
You can reset the internal memory of your P-touch labeling system to clear all saved label files, or if the
P-touch labeling system is not operating correctly.
Resetting All Settings to the Factory Settings Using the
P-touch Labeling System Buttons
All text, format settings, option settings and stored label files are cleared when you reset the P-touch labeling
system (including language and unit settings).
To reset the P-touch labeling system, perform the following procedure.

Turn off the P-touch labeling system.

Press and hold the
(Power) indicator lights in orange and the

While holding the
Press two times to reset the customized settings and clear the data except all of the transferred data
from the computer, registered programs, and the contents in the file memory. (The settings that you
can make using the keyboard LCD unit are reset.)
Press four times to clear all of the transferred data from the computer, registered programs, and the
contents in the file memory.
Press six times to delete all data and reset the P-touch labeling system settings to the factory settings
except the Wi-Fi settings.

Release the
(Power) button.
(Power) button and the
(Power) button, press the
(Feed and Cut) button for about three seconds until the
(Label) indicator blinks in green.
