Prepare the battery

Note! Remove the electric start module and the charger
from the packaging. The battery must be charged before
starting the mower with the electric starter. The battery
can be charged either attached or detached from the
mower handle.
1. Open the battery port on the starting module.
2. Connect the battery charger connector (male) to
the start module connector (female).
3. Plug the battery charger into a 110 volt A.C. (60 Hz)
outlet.
4. Leave the charger connected for a minimum of 6
hours before starting the engine using the electric
starter.
5. After charging, disconnect the battery charger
connector (male) from the start module connector

BATTERY

(female) and replace the battery port cover on the
start module.
Charge the battery when necessary.
Note! The engine will not charge your battery. The battery
will need to be charged periodically.
CAUTION! Always disconnect the starter module and
remove it from the handle to prevent an accidental start
during transport or when you store your lawn mower
after the season.
