PC BOARD ASSEMBLY
Identify and install the following parts as shown in Figure 6-1. After soldering each part, place a check in the
box provided.
R3 - 47kΩ Resistor
(yellow-violet-orange-gold)
R4 - 47kΩ Resistor
(yellow-violet-orange-gold)
LP4 - Neon Bulb
LP3 - Neon Bulb

R5 - 10kΩ Resistor
(brown-black-orange-gold)
C1 - .47µF Mylar Cap. (474)

R6 - 100kΩ Resistor
(brown-black-yellow-gold)
Q1 - 9014C Transistor

Mount the transistor with the
flat side in the same direction
as marked on the PC board.

a 1/8" space between the bulb
and the holes in the PC
board.

space between the capacitor
and the PC board holes as
shown. Solder and twist the
leads together. DO NOT CUT
THE LEADS.
