To permanently shi the gears manually in
drive program = using the steering wheel
paddle shi ers, select the M M (Manual) setting
for the transmission.

The automatic transmission does not shi up
in manual mode even when the engine's limit-
ing speed is reached.
The fuel supply is interrupted in order to pre-
vent the engine from overrevving.

Driving and parking
If the engine speed is too high or too low, you
cannot change gear using the steering wheel pad-
dle shi ers. In this case, segments

With an anticipatory driving style, Glide mode
helps you to reduce fuel consumption.
Glide mode is characterized by the following:

are met:
ECO start/stop function is switched on.

Drive program = is selected with the drive
