The Console interface may be accessed using a serial application (Putty, HyperTerminal,
minicom, MobaXterm, etc.) configured with the following characteristics:
5.2.2 Default Passwords and Change
The default passwords are as follows:
user/password: operator/operator100
user/password: admin/admin100
user/password: root/root100
Default passwords are changed as done in Linux. To change any default password, log in to the
root user account and use the following command:
$ passwd operator "new password
$ passwd admin "new password"
$ passwd root "new password"
Where "new password" = the new required password.

The console interface is also used for status reporting which can
make CLI use a challenge. Wherever possible, it is recommended
that Ethernet access (described later) is used.
Quotes are not required and Linux will not ask you to repeat your
password.
