Pressure testing
Pressure testing should be carried out with the carburettor
fully assembled. Testing should always be carried out after
the carburettor has been repaired, but it can also be carried
out as trouble shooting before dismantling the carburettor.
See fig. 17 and carry out the test as follows:
1. Unscrew the high and low speed screws one turn from
home position.
2. Connect pressure tester 502 50 38-01 to the carburettor's
fuel intake.
3. Lower the carburettor into a beaker of water.
4. Pump up the pressure to 50 kPa (0.5 bar) and squeeze
together the tube.
5. No leakage is permitted. If a leakage occurs refer to the
table below.

Refitting to the chainsaw
See fig. 18.
1. Loosen the filter holder and put the carburettor in place
on the chainsaw.
2. Fit the filter holder, carburettor and intake manifold.
Tighten the bolts to 1.5 Nm.
3. Fit the fuel pipe (B) on the fuel nipple and the tube (C) on
the impulse nipple.
4. Fit the throttle cable and choke control.
5. Fit the carburettor control (A).
6. Fit the cylinder cover and air filter.
